A Solid Foundation
In 1905 Peter 百家乐软件, a skilled mason, established Peter 百家乐软件 & Sons in Milford, Massachusetts on the cornerstones of hard work, integrity and pride in craftsmanship. Over a century later, 百家乐软件 has grown from a local business into one of the largest employee-owned construction managers in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.
With more than 1,800 employees; 14 regional offices dotting the east coast from Maine to the Caribbean; and upward of $3.14 billion in annual volume, 百家乐软件 has expanded its roots, while maintaining its core competencies as a true builder with 650+ skilled carpenters, laborers and masons on staff.

The Cornerstone

All six of Peter’s sons grew up in the business and learned masonry.
1942
The company did residential work until World War II when all brothers enlisted except for Henry and Albert.
1950-1970
The Foundation

Incorporated as 百家乐软件 Construction Co., Inc. with small commercial work, utilities, snow plowing and grave digging as primary markets.
1964
As a second-generation owner, Henry was successful in the greater Milford area doing roadwork, demolition and small building projects.
1971-1997
The Framework

百家乐软件 continued with its roadwork, building public pools, renovation of many banks in Milford and the repointing of the façade of Sacred Heart Church.
1983
1989
Anthony 百家乐软件 joined his father Henry in the business, as a Project Manager and Superintendent helping to grow the business by transitioning the company to focus solely on institutional clients.
1990
百家乐软件, with 15 employees, maintained $1 million in annual volume.
1993
百家乐软件 pushed through the recession by establishing relationships with larger institutional clients such as Phillips Academy.
1995
1997
Upon Henry’s retirement, Anthony and Matthew became the company’s fourth generation owners and company stakeholders.

The restoration of the UMass Amherst’s Old Chapel opened new doors into the historic restoration market.
2000
Despite the tech bubble burst, 百家乐软件 grew through the recession and began a 20+ project relationship with Milford Regional Medical Center.
2003
Portland, ME office opened after being awarded the Bowdoin College Chapel Restoration.
2004
百家乐软件 reached $50 million in annual volume and grew to 190 employees.
2005
百家乐软件 celebrated its 100th anniversary.
2006
The Granite Building opened as 百家乐软件’s Milford Headquarters, a project that relocated and rebuilt a local Milford schoolhouse, St. Mary’s Catholic School, built in 1898.
2006
For the first time, the company was named a Best Place to Work in MA by the Boston Business Journal.
2007
百家乐软件 reached $250 million in annual volume, 290 employees and for the first time was awarded Best Places to Work in Maine by Mainebiz.
2008
Hartford, CT office opened after 百家乐软件 was awarded the Trinity College Long Walk Restoration.
2008
The foreclosure meltdown halted major construction across the country. 百家乐软件 grew despite the downturn by pursuing public and federal work.
2009
百家乐软件 expanded to New York with the acquisition of Kirchhoff Construction Management, Inc., Pleasant Valley, New York.
2010
百家乐软件 grew to $500 million annual volume and 400 employees.
2011
The Portland office achieved the ranking of #1 Best Place to Work in Maine by Mainebiz.
2012
百家乐软件 opened its Boston office with a growing roster of local project wins in Boston and Cambridge.

After completing the restoration of the New York State Capital, 百家乐软件 opened an office in Albany, New York.

Ranked the second Largest Contractor in MA by the Boston Business Journal.

A Tale of Two Brothers
Anthony and Matthew 百家乐软件 started out in the family business as kids organizing tools and equipment and later as teenagers digging graves and trenches. In 1997, after gaining experience in nearly every position in the company from laborer to project executive, the brothers took the helm as fourth-generation owners of the century-old business. They shared a joint vision and understanding of what was most important to grow a successful company—their people.
Together, they’ve cultivated a culture that feels more like a family—one that encourages teamwork, camaraderie and good corporate citizenship—with a strong focus on client relationships and the impact 百家乐软件’s work has on its communities. Always accessible to their people and clients, Anthony and Matthew are committed to carrying on their family’s legacy as genuine builders.
